Thank you for those of you who popped down to speak with #NPT at Flintshire Retail Park today outside the Jade Jones Pavilion.
A big thanks also to the Pavilion itself for allowing us to park our #engagement van out front and for offering brews to officers ☕
The van will be out and about in the community again tomorrow and Friday with it being in Bagillt tomorrow at 10-12:00 in the car park outside the Stagg Inn, where we will be happy to speak with you about knife crime, offensive weapons as well as other issues within the community.
On Friday it will be in Wepre Park at 10am -12-ish for a litter pick/clean up in the park - we hope to see a number of people there! Feel free to pop down for a chat!
8 knives were handed to officers today outside Jade Jones Pavilion, which have now been disposed of safely 👍
The knife amnesty is a VERY important part of #OpSceptre, taking possible weapons off the street and reducing accessibility to weapons in the community.
Please review the list- If you have any of the items please hand them in- they are illegal to possess in a private place i.e. dwellings etc and take the opportunity to make the community safer by handing them in for destruction.
If you have any questions - officers will be available at the times above to discuss any issues you may have.
