Tonight begins a run of four away games in the space of seven days – as the Blues face Northwich Victoria.
Vics are currently playing in the North West Counties Premier, and have been there since their demotion back in 2017. We head to Wincham Park tonight, the home of Witton Albion, as Northwich groundshare with Northern Premier side Albion.
Bern and Jonno’s side come into this after scoring four goals on their way to victory against Bury AFC at the Deva on Saturday. Skipper George Glendon bagged, as well as maiden Chester strikes for Matty Williams and James Hardy – and a first senior goal for Harrison Burke.
Following this, Chester visit Macclesfield on Friday, Radcliffe on Saturday and then Trafford in seven days’ time – as the pre-season pace starts to pick up.
