Officers investigating reports of an attempted burglary in Norley are appealing for witnesses or anyone with footage to contact them.
At around 5.25pm on Saturday 11 January, police received reports of an attempted burglary at an address in Delamere Road.
It is believed that four unknown individuals wearing face masks had gained access to the garden and attempted to break into the property before leaving the scene in a white van. No access is believed to have been gained to the address and nothing was stolen.
Officers are now urging anyone who was in the area at the time and spotted anything suspicious, as well as anyone with relevant footage, to contact them.
DC Paul Boneham said:
“We are currently conducting enquiries to trace those responsible. As part of our investigation, we would like to ask any witnesses to come forward, as well as anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage.
“In particular we would urge anyone who has a dashcam and was driving along Ashton Road from Delamere Road between 5pm and 5.30pm on the date of the incident to get in touch with us."
