The Blues are looking to make it back-to-back National League North wins this weekend with a trip to Chorley.
Our first victory of the new season came in dramatic fashion over Alfreton Town last Saturday. James Hardy’s first goal for the club gave Bern and Jonno’s side the lead – before being reduced to ten men after Danny Livesey was sent off.
Matt Rhead’s double twice pegged the Blues back, but goals from Declan Weeks and then Dan Cowan in stoppage time sealed a superb victory.
Defender Livesey will be available for the game after seeing his red card on Saturday overturned following a successful appeal by the Blues.
Chorley have won two and lost two to kick off the season. They hit the headlines in their last encounter, winning 9-0 at home to Gloucester City.
Kick off is 3pm at Victory Park in this all ticket affair.
