New Brighton Riptide maintained their flawless start to the season on Friday night, brushing aside Whitegate United 3-1. Strikes from Chris Weight, Leighton Clarke, and Mark McNoon ensured it is now four wins from four for the league leaders, who keep their firm grip on the top spot in the CWFL Queensferry Premier Division.

The chasing pack showed no signs of letting up on Saturday, as Chester Nomads 3rds kept the leaders firmly in their sights. They romped to a commanding 8-2 victory on the road at Handbridge FC, spearheaded by a ruthless four-goal haul from James Lloyd. Charlie Jones, Trey Lattie, Charlie Orsler, and Matt Jones completed the rout, while Luke Barratt and Jack Evans scored consolations for the hosts.

Elsewhere, Elton JFC heaped further misery onto a struggling Farndon side with a clinical 5-0 away triumph. James King-Magee was the star of the show, plundering four goals, while William Parsons added his name to the scoresheet. Adam Hagger joined the weekend's four-goal club, driving M.U.C United to a comfortable 5-1 win over Upton JFC Reserves. Emmanuel Ramutsa also found the net for the victors, with Jord Mather grabbing Upton JFC Reserves' lone response.

In the CWFL Olympic Trophies Championship, Cestrian’s Jack Williams went one better than the Premier Division players who netted four goals by hitting a magnificent five-goal haul against Hoole Rovers. Matt Gilmour and Tom Richardson put the finishing touches on a ruthless 7-0 away demolition.

The Grange found themselves on the wrong end of a five-goal blitz from West Kirby United, losing out despite strikes from Ciaran Currie and Kendall Davies. West Kirby United hit five in reply to courtesy of a Brad Wright brace and further goals from Fintan Smithies, Alex Davies, and Pascal Nugent.

At the summit, Runcorn Town FC Development dropped their first points of the campaign in a thrilling 3-3 draw away at West Kirby U18’s. Jack Hunter, Aiden Murphy, and Alex Sharp all scored for the league leaders, but a double from Jake Barlow alongside a Lewis Corrigan strike earned West Kirby U18’s a superb point.

Poulton Vics capitalised on the slip-up, grinding out a 3-2 win against Wallasey Village YFC to stay second. Alfie Naylor, Callum Maddocks, and Kyle Campbell-Lee struck for the Vics, while Ellis Blenkinsop and Sam Hacket scored for Wallasey Village YFC.

Meanwhile, an Adam Leese effort was not enough to save Willaston FC from a 2-1 home loss against West Kirby U23, who sealed the points through William Adam Rogan and Lewis Broadbent.

Total Football Academy FC maintained their perfect start, making it two wins from two with an entertaining 5-2 home victory over Chester Nomads FC Development. Ellis Gerrard led the charge with a double, supported by goals from Fikky Balogun, Nathaniel Jones, and Ibrahim Naylor, while Nick Crouch and George Cartwright replied for Chester Nomads FC Development.

In the CWFL Tarvin Precision Vets Division One, Crossway went on a goal rampage, thumping AFC Waverton Vets 10-1. Just Osuji and Kevin Leech (photo) both bagged hat-tricks, while Ash Doyle, Nathan Jones, Richard Dalton-Morris, and Phillip Radcliffe completed the scoring. Elsewhere, Chris Caress’s goal wasn't enough for Wirral Masters, who fell to a narrow 2-1 defeat on the road at Davenham Vets.

Division Two action saw Frodsham Park Vets secure a hard-fought 2-1 win over Great Sutton Vets, with goals from Mark Earlam and Adam Newbolt making the difference. Hoole Rangers Vets edged out Tarporley Vets by the odd goal in five; James Hakley, Alec Hutchinson, and Ashley English struck for Hoole, while Jonathan Evans and Paul Williams replied for Tarporley Vets. Meanwhile, a Sean Haley brace was a mere consolation for Nelson Vets as they were soundly beaten 6-2 away at Hoole Wanderers Vets.

In Division Three, Ben Reddock stole the headlines with a four-goal display in Tarvin Athletics' resounding 10-1 demolition of Eastham Rangers Vets. Matthew Andrews chipped in with a brace, while Adam Butcher, Matt Edwards, and Sean Taylor added late gloss.
