Chester FC goalkeeper Louis Gray has signed a new contact at the Deva Stadium.
The 25-year-old stopper has put pen to paper on a deal which sees his stay with the Blues for the 2021/22 campaign.
Louis originally joined the Club on a loan deal from Carlisle United in February 2020 but was restricted to just one league appearance before the season was curtailed.
Gray made his CH1 stay permanent last summer and featured in all 15 National League North matches this term before another curtailment cut this campaign short.
Joint Manager Anthony Johnson had this to say on today’s news: “We’re over the moon that Louis has decided to extend his stay with us.
“He had a really strong season last time out and gave us fantastic platform to build our possession-based style with him being so comfortable on the ball.
“He also earned us some vital points with top saves especially late on in games when the opposition put us under real pressure.”
Great to have you staying on board, Louis!
Louis Gray is now signed up for 2021/22, will you be joining him?
