On Friday 7th November, Samantha Dixon, MP for Chester North & Neston, hosted a successful Housing Surgery that provided residents with much-needed support and expert advice on a range of housing-related issues.
The event, held in Chester, attracted residents from across the city, many of whom were able to access expert advice from a range of housing providers, representatives from Cheshire West and Chester Council, and local organisations. The surgery offered residents the opportunity to speak directly with professionals and receive tailored support for their specific housing concerns.
Samantha Dixon MP, who hosted the surgery, said:
“I’m pleased so many residents were able to attend and receive the advice and support they need. Housing issues can be incredibly stressful, and it’s important for people know where to turn. The event brought together a variety of experts, and I’m glad to see it made a real difference to those who attended.”
The surgery built on Samantha’s ongoing work to enhance housing support services in the area. This included her earlier discussions with the leadership team of Sanctuary Housing to improve services for residents.
Samantha added:
“I want to thank everyone who participated in the event, including the organisations that continue to collaborate with my team. We will keep working to make sure residents have the support they need, and we’ll be holding more surgeries like this in the future.”
For those unable to attend, Samantha’s office remains available to help with any housing-related concerns.
Residents are encouraged to get in touch for further assistance.
