Residents, businesses and visitors are being invited to share their views as work continues to shape the future of Buckley town centre.
Flintshire County Council is inviting people to take part in a new public engagement opportunity as part of Shaping Buckley, a project looking at how the town centre could be improved and made more attractive, welcoming and vibrant for everyone.
The engagement will build on the vision for Buckley that was consulted on last month and led to the vision for the town being agreed and a series of key priority areas identified for development. From the responses received the designers Hemingway working with WSP in partnership with Flintshire County Council, have developed initial concept designs.
People can share their views about the emerging designs for Buckley’s town centre by completing the short survey here:
The survey will be open from November 12th.
Whether you live in Buckley, work in the town, run a business, shop locally or visit regularly, your views are important and will help inform the next stage of the project helping to ensure the designs reflect the needs, priorities and aspirations of local people.
A public drop-in session will be held in Buckley Precinct on Thursday 12 November between 10am and 5pm, giving residents, businesses and visitors the opportunity to see the emerging ideas, talk to the project team and provide further feedback. Online surveys will also be available for completion.
The aim is to ensure that the developing proposals are informed by the people who know and use Buckley every day.
Have your say and help shape the future of Buckley town centre.
