Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision on the M6.
At around 3.30am on 27th October a Mercedes Sprinter van was travelling along the southbound carriageway when it crossed from lane one into the M6 northbound carriageway into the path of an MG HS near junction 20.
The drivers of both vehicles and a passenger from the MG were taken to hospital. Two had minor injuries and a third has potentially serious injuries.
PC Scott Simons said:
“I’d urge anyone who witnessed the driving of the van in the run up to the collision to contact me. The same goes for anyone with dash cam footage.”
The driver of the van was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and drug driving. He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or via the website quoting IML 2446193.
