Officers have arrested a woman on suspicion of drug supply offences following a series of warrants in Neston.
On Wednesday 14th October, officers from Ellesmere Port Proactive CID conducted six warrants across the Neston area following concerns raised to them by local residents.
At an address on Steeple Court, officers recovered a large quantity cocaine inside the property.
The 49-year-old woman occupant, who was located nearby, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
She remains in custody at this time and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
Detective Sergeant Tom Philpotts, of Ellesmere Port Reactive CID said:
“This morning’s warrants resulted in a sizeable amount of class A drugs being removed from our local community, showing that we will not tolerate the supply of illegal products and the funding of organised crime in our communities.
“These warrants were a direct result of information being supplied to us from members of the local community and I would urge anyone who believes this activity is happening near to them, to please contact us on 101 or visit:
