For the second time this week, Chester FC and Spennymoor Town face off – this time in the North East.
Down at the Deva on Tuesday night, the excellent Blues kept up their perfect start to the 2020/21 campaign with a 3-1 victory over the Moors. Ryan Hall struck early, before goals from Jamie Morgan, Danny Elliott and George Waring sent the Seals into the Fourth Qualifying Round.
Both teams are undefeated after two games in the National League North – with Chester taking six points from six after beating Kidderminster and Leamington – while Spennymoor have a four point return, beating Farsley Celtic before drawing at Alfreton last weekend.
The Blues will be without midfielder Paddy Lacey again as his suspension continues. But with 45 minutes under the belt of Brad Jackson in midweek, Bern and Jonno could be ready to welcome a key player back into the starting eleven.
