Dan Cowan departs Chester FC

Chester FC has confirmed that the contract of Dan Cowan has been cancelled by mutual consent.

The 25-year-old central defender joined the Blues in the summer from Curzon Ashton and went on to make 19 appearances for the club.

He scored on two occasions, on consecutive weekends, a dramatic late winner against Alfreton Town was followed up by a goal at Chorley in defeat seven days later.

We’d like to thank Dan for his time and efforts while with Chester FC and wish him the very best for the future.
