Chester FC are delighted to announce that Blues left-back Joel Taylor has been named in the Vanarama National League North Team of the Season 2019/2020!
The 24-year-old has had a storming first season at the Deva Stadium following his arrival last summer from Kidderminster Harriers.
Joel quickly caught the eye of the Blues faithful with strong defensive displays and being a constant attacking threat down the left – the stats showing he contributed with a superb return of nine assists.
It’s another deserved accolade for the excellent Taylor, who bagged our CFU Player of the Season Award for 2019/20 at the Digital Awards Night in May.
Joel made 38 appearances in all competitions, and joins Altrincham’s Shaun Densmore, Brackley’s Gareth Dean and York’s Sean Newton in defence. Peter Jameson also represents the Minstermen in goal.
Alty’s second player in the team is Josh Hancock in a three man midfield, alongside Southport’s David Morgan and King’s Lynn’s Chris Henderson.
National League North Golden Boot winner Adam Marriott features up top with Spennymoor’s Glen Taylor and Brackley’s Lee Ndlovu.
