Brad Jackson has turned down the offer of a new deal with the Blues in favour of a move to National League side Altrincham.
Injuries restricted the 24-year-old to just seven starts in all competitions this term, and Brad finishes up having made 71 appearances for the Club, scoring five goals.
Jackson was also voted by supporters as part of the squad in the Chester FC Team of the Decade last year.
Joint Manager Anthony Johnson said: “Brad has been offered a deal elsewhere and has decided that he wants to test himself in the National League.
“He’s been absolutely fantastic for us over the last few seasons albeit last season struggling with injuries and not playing the amount of games he’d have liked to.
“We wish him nothing but the best of luck for the future.”
