THE SHOW MUST GO ON, AS THEATRE COMPANY RETURNS TO CHESTER FOLLOWING SELL-OUT SUCCESS

A show packed with songs from smash hit West End and Broadway musicals is set to take to the stage in Chester.

Following its sell-out debut at Theatr Clwyd in 2021, Chester and Wrexham based community theatre company Tip Top Productions is bringing its acclaimed musical theatre spectacular "The Show Must Go On" back to the stage this August at The Hammond in Chester.

The show follows the company's critically acclaimed production of "Come From Away" at Storyhouse in Chester and "The Full Monty" at Theatr Clwyd earlier this year. 

Described as a love letter to the West End and Broadway, "The Show Must Go On" is set to be staged from Thursday 13th - Saturday 15th August at 7.30pm, with a matinee performance at 2.30pm on Saturday 15^th August.

Packed with unforgettable songs, spectacular dance numbers and outstanding performances, this two-hour musical compilation celebrates some of the greatest musicals of all time. Audiences can look forward to favourites from the brand-new smash hit musical Paddington, Shrek, Oliver!, Six, Legally Blonde, West Side Story, The Greatest Showman and many more, performed by talented Youth & Adult members of Tip Top Productions.

Bringing together performers of all ages, "The Show Must Go On" showcases the passion, creativity and talent that Tip Top Productions has become known for. Featuring over two hours of live entertainment, the production promises an evening packed with iconic songs, brilliant choreography and memorable moments for the whole family.

The show will be produced and directed for Tip Top by Luke Disley, Robert Lyon and Rhian Lyon, with musical direction by Wendy Dickinson and choreography by Rhian Lyon, Joni Rusling, Dani O'Meara and Ell Smith. Together, the creative team has crafted a dynamic production that blends stunning choreography, powerful vocals and memorable musical theatre moments into an unforgettable evening of live entertainment.
