Samantha Dixon, MP for Chester North & Neston, will host a dedicated housing surgery on Friday 5th June, offering residents the chance to access advice and support on a wide range of housing concerns.
The event will bring together housing providers alongside representatives from Cheshire West and Chester Council’s housing team, giving local people the opportunity to speak directly with organisations able to provide guidance, practical support, and information on available services.
Housing continues to be one of the most common issues raised by residents contacting Samantha Dixon’s office, with constituents regularly seeking help on matters including social housing, repairs, homelessness, temporary accommodation and housing applications.
The surgery forms part of Samantha’s ongoing commitment to ensuring local residents can access face-to-face support and connect with the organisations best placed to help resolve their issues.
Speaking ahead of the event, Samantha Dixon MP said:
“Housing remains the number one issue residents contact me about, and it’s clear there is still a real need for opportunities like this where people can speak directly to those who can help.
“These surgeries are an important way of bringing organisations together in one place so residents can access advice, ask questions, and get support with the challenges they are facing.
“I’m pleased to hold another housing surgery following the positive response to previous events. My thanks go to all the organisations continuing to work alongside my team and caseworkers to make these sessions possible.
“I would encourage anyone experiencing housing difficulties or concerns to get in touch and register to attend.”
Residents interested in attending the housing surgery are encouraged to contact Samantha Dixon’s office to register and receive full event details.
