At 11.56am on Wednesday 13 May police received a report of a man with serious injuries in a property on Whitby Road in Ellesmere Port.
The man, aged 34, has been taken to hospital by air ambulance with injuries believed to be serious.
A scene is currently in place at an address on Whitby Road.
Two men, aged 44 and 45, have been arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault and are currently in custody.
