A 26-year-old man, formerly of Chester, has been charged with 39 offences following an investigation by Cheshire Constabulary’s Online Child Abuse Investigation Team.
Bilal Kazi, an Indian national, of HMP Birmingham and formerly of Chester, has been charged with multiple offences including making indecent images, blackmail, inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, and inciting a child to watch sexual activity.
The charges relate to incidents that occurred between 2021 and 2023 and involve 71 girls under the age of 16 from across the UK.
Kazi has been remanded and is due to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Friday 13th March.
