A man has been charged following suspicious behaviour in Chester.
Ion Chelo, of Whipcord Lane, Chester, was arrested on Tuesday 2nd June 2026.
The 48-year-old has since been charged with using threatening/abusive words or behaviour to cause harassment/alarm/distress, and harassment without violence.
Chelo was remanded in custody to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 4 June 2026 and will now appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Monday 27th July 2026.
The charges relate to reports of a man who appeared to be following women and girls in Chester between 6th May and 1st June 2026.
