Detectives in Ellesmere Port have charged a man in connection to a serious assault on Hope Farm Road.
Marc Weaver of Lancaster Gardens, Ellesmere Port, was arrested on Monday 11 July following the serious assault that left two people with puncture wounds.
The 47-year-old has since been charged with attempted murder, section 18 assault and section 47 assault. .
Weaver has been remanded in custody and will appear at Warrington Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 13 July.
Condition update
The 73-year-old woman who was the attempted murder victim remains in hospital at this time - she is in a stable condition.
The section 18 assault victim has been discharged and is recovering at home.
The section 47-assault victim was walking wounded and did not require hospital treatment
