Samantha Dixon, Member of Parliament for Chester North & Neston, is inviting local residents to join a community clean-up event on Saturday 6th June, to mark World Environment Day.
The event will bring neighbours together to help keep the area clean, green, and welcoming, while celebrating the importance of looking after our local environment. Residents of all ages are welcome to participate, meet fellow community members, and make a positive impact in the neighbourhood.
Following the success of last year’s clean-up, Samantha and her team are looking forward to another well-supported event, helping tidy public spaces and showing pride in the local community.
Speaking ahead of the event, Samantha Dixon MP said:
“To mark World Environment Day, I’m delighted to be hosting another community clean-up this June. I know how much people care about our local area, and this is a wonderful opportunity to come together to make it cleaner, greener, and more welcoming for everyone.
“Last year’s event was fantastic, and it was inspiring to see so many residents of all ages getting involved. I really enjoyed meeting everyone who volunteered, and I’m looking forward to another successful day this year.
“I’d encourage anyone who wants to make a positive difference in our community to join me on Saturday 6th June.”
Residents interested in taking part are encouraged to register their interest with Samantha Dixon’s office to receive full event details, including meeting points and timings.
