The Greenfield Valley is letting everyone know that their much-loved early summer music event ‘Party in the Park’ is going to be bigger and better this year under its new title ‘Live at the Valley’.
Taking people’s favourite bits from previous events and stepping up the festival feel, in 2023 there is going to be more live music across two stages, circus skills, crafts and games as well as street food, draft beer and a gin from the bar.
Greenfield Valley Trust chair Brenda Harvey said, ‘We are all excited about ‘Live at the Valley’. It is one of the biggest events the Valley has seen. Music will be played throughout the event by a whole range of artists ranging from the well-known local Alt Rock/Indie band The Montagues to the George Formby Society playing their ukuleles. The music will be set alongside games and activities to amuse all the family together with a bar and food. With free entry for children we have made sure that there is something for everyone and we think it will be an event to remember.’
‘Live at the Valley’ is at the Greenfield Valley Museum on Saturday 24th June. Starting at 1pm it goes on all afternoon and into the evening drawing to a close at about 10pm. Children’s activities will end in the early evening.
