Incident on Lower Bridge Street in Chester

Here's an update from Cheshire Police on this incident earlier today...

At 10.20am today, Thursday 22 August, police were called to reports that a woman had fallen from a roof on Lower Bridge Street in Chester.

Officers attended the scene along with paramedics, including air ambulance.

Sadly, despite the best efforts of all those involved, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Although the death is believed to be non-suspicious, enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
