Ahead of this weekend’s home fixture against King’s Lynn Town, Chester FC is reminding supporters that we all share a responsibility to ensure the Deva Stadium remains a safe and welcoming environment for fans, players and officials.
The players have played their part in setting up an exciting finish to the season, and your continued support and cooperation in backing the team in the right way is greatly appreciated.
Pyrotechnics
Carrying or using pyrotechnics, including flares, smoke bombs and fireworks, within stadiums is strictly prohibited. Pyrotechnics can cause serious injuries, including burns and breathing difficulties, as well as damage to hearing, lungs and eyes. They also present a significant fire risk.
It is illegal to bring them into stadiums, and doing so endangers the safety of yourself and others, while also putting the club at risk of sanctions, including fines.
Pitch Incursions
Supporters are reminded that it is a criminal offence to enter the pitch at any time. Anyone doing so may face both club and police action, including stadium bans, Football Banning Orders, travel restrictions and a criminal record.
Please continue to support the team from the stands, respect fellow supporters, players and officials, and remain off the pitch at all times.
Allocated Seating
All fixtures at the Deva Stadium are now fully allocated seating. Please sit in the seat (block/row/number) stated on your ticket.
Supporters paying contactless at the gate should avoid sitting in seats marked “Season Ticket Holders” or “Reserved”. If you are occupying a seat that is assigned to another ticket holder, you will be asked to move.
For ease and to guarantee your seat, we encourage supporters to purchase tickets online via Fanbase wherever possible. If you experience any seating issues inside the ground, please speak to the nearest steward, who will be happy to assist.
Report It
If you witness any dangerous, discriminatory or abusive behaviour during the fixture, please report it to your nearest steward. All reports are treated seriously and in confidence, and will be escalated to the relevant authorities where appropriate.
Chester FC is an inclusive, family-friendly club committed to ensuring the Deva Stadium remains a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors.
We expect all supporters to behave responsibly and adhere to our Code of Conduct, available at:
