What’s in store…
Curious Kids: Solar System Spectacular
- The newest show in our hugely popular Curious Kids series, get ready for a Solar System Spectacular! Featuring even more hair-raising experiments, fantastic facts and tricky trivia, this new science show is sure to spark curiosity in kids of all ages as our team of Explainers become your trusty guides on this trip across the known Universe!
- Mon – Fri, 12noon + 2:30pm
- Recommended for ages 6+
- Tickets allocated on a first come, first served basis
Ted’s Space Adventure
- Explore the Solar System with Ted’s Space Adventure in the First Light Pavilion Dome – it’s one small step for Ted, one giant leap for little astronauts. A charming new show with interactivity, music and rhyme, the show is a must for preschool children!
- Weds + Thurs, 11am
- Recommended for ages 2-7
Meet the Expert
- Discover ground-breaking science and get answers to your biggest space questions as we welcome experts from Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics and the Square Kilometre Array Observatory. Each speaker will introduce an area of research before inviting questions about radio astronomy, distant stars and more.

Royal Society Summer Science Exhibits on Tour
- The Royal Society’s Summer Science Exhibition, which annually showcases some of the most exciting scientific research from across the UK, will be appearing at Jodrell Bank as the first stop of the ‘Summer Science Exhibits on Tour.’ Together, the Royal Society and Jodrell Bank are curating for curious minds this Summer!
- 3rd + 4th and 10th + 11th August, all day
- Recommended for ages 5+
- Free with admission
The Great Solar System Adventure!
- A new Dome Show for summer 2024, prepare for a journey from the sun-scorched surface of Mercury to the icy expanses of Pluto and beyond on a breathtaking tour of the solar system that reveals just how precious our home planet really is.
- Every day, 11am + 3pm (only showing at 3pm on Weds and Thurs)
- Recommended for ages 7+
Telescope Talks, crafts, free films and Cap Com Go every single day!
