The curtain is set to rise at Chester's Storyhouse on a show which celebrates the best of the West End and Broadway.
Local community theatre company Wrexham based Tip Top Productions is set to stage the show "Tip Top at The Musicals" at the city centre theatre on Wednesday 2nd at 7.30pm and Thursday 3rd October at 2.30pm & 7.30pm.
Featuring a cast of talented performers including several budding young musical theatre stars, the show will showcase songs from a whole host of Musicals old and new including Mamma Mia, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Les Miserables, Ghost, Company, Everybody's Talking About Jamie and many more.
Speaking about the show, producer Steve Davies said:
"We're returning to the main stage at Storyhouse for three performances only as we present the best of Broadway and the West End. This compilation of musical theatre songs is sure to include many of your favourites as well as one or two new ones, too! Our company of soloists will perform songs from musicals including Les Miserables, Kiss Me Kate, Brigadoon and Wicked as well as newer shows like Everybody's Talking About Jamie, In Pieces and Beetlejuice. Soloists include Rob Poston who most recently wowed audiences as Vittorio Vidal in our production of Sweet Charity. Jade Pritchard returns to Tip Top following a couple of years on board Silver Seas Cruises as a lead vocalist. Prior to that Tip Top audiences will remember her as our principal girl in many Christmas pantomimes at The Forum Studio Theatre. Charlotte Croft makes a welcome return too and is sure to be a hit at Storyhouse as she raises the roof with some musical theatre classics. Supported by a company of thirty plus a children's ensemble this will be a celebration of musical theatre in Chester's City Centre Theatre."
