Chester Town Hall, the Eastgate Clock and Newgate Bridge will be illuminated in red and white light again from 8pm on Sunday 11 July to celebrate England reaching the final of EURO 2020

Football fans across the borough will watch England play Italy at Wembley in the final gripping match of the tournament.

The Council’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Environment, Highways and Strategic Transport, Councillor Karen Shore said:

“Our Street Lighting team will once again show the Council is behind England in their historic final game of EURO 2020.

“Last night’s celebratory lighting brought good luck to the team, here’s hoping for another good result on Sunday!”
