Citizens Advice Flintshire - Volunteers required

Citizens Advice Flintshire is currently recruiting for Volunteer Assessors

People’s lives are often turned upside down through no fault of their own which maybe due to ill health, loss of a job and many other reasons that can affect people’s daily lives.
Vision – twin aims
Flintshire Citizens Advice service provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities. It values diversity, promotes equality and challenges discrimination.
Our service aims:
  • To provide the advice people need for the problems they face
  • To improve the policies and practices that affect people's lives
The service is instrumental in supporting people through debt and money advice issues and Citizens Advice Flintshire (CAF) believes that individuals should not be disadvantaged through a lack of knowledge of their rights.

Citizens Advice Flintshire responded to the Covid Pandemic challenge by offering several new ways to engage with the service. Email had been an option prior to lockdown but text, WhatsApp, Messenger and Attend Anywhere’s virtual meeting environment became available to replace Face to Face appointments at their offices.
Whilst the new ways of helping clients has been successful and, in some cases, a preferred option, Face to Face is now available at the Mold offices every Wednesday between 9am and 12.30pm, and at Connah’s Quay every Thursday between 9am and 12.30pm.
