Chester FC to host Charnock Richard or Pontefract Collieries in Emirates FA Cup

Chester FC have been drawn to face Charnock Richard or Pontefract Collieries in the Second Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup.

The tie is scheduled to take place on Saturday 17th September at 3pm at at the Deva Stadium.

Winners of Second Round Qualifying ties will receive £3,375, with the losing sides getting £1,125.

Charnock and Pontefract played out a 2-2 draw at Mossie Park on Saturday, with the replay in Yorkshire this coming Tuesday.

A familiar face features for North West Counties Premier side Charnock Richard, former Blues defender Simon Grand joined them in the summer.

Pontefract meanwhile play in the Northern Premier Division One East, two tiers below the Blues.
