CHESTER FC SEASON TICKET RENEWALS AVAILABLE FROM NEXT MONDAY

Chester Football Club are delighted to announce that fans will be able to renew their season tickets for the 2021/22 campaign from Monday 10th May.

Prices for the upcoming season have been frozen and the Blues will once again be partnering up with online ticketing experts Kaizen, enabling the club to process renewals online and make purchasing your season ticket quick and simple.

From Monday, existing season ticket holders can visit chesterfc.com/seasontickets to renew online.

It is intended to return renewing season ticket holders to their previous seats from the 2019/20 season for the new campaign, although this is subject to social distancing restrictions being lifted from June 21st in line with the Government’s roadmap.

The deadline for renewals is Sunday 13^th June.

We plan to welcome new season ticket applications from Monday 21^st June, assuming restrictions are lifted.

For supporters who prefer to renew in person, the Deva Stadium ticket office will reopen from Tuesday 11^th May for debit/credit card renewals with safety measures in place for the protection of staff, volunteers and visitors.

You can also renew over the telephone by calling 01244 371376 during office hours.

Disabled supporters are advised to follow the process of renewing online and once complete, email jeff.banks@chesterfc.com with the details of the carer who will accompany them into the stadium (if applicable).

The move to online ticketing means fans will receive a season ticket card for 2021/22 with a barcode, which will be scanned at the turnstiles to gain access to the ground. Season ticket cards for 2020/21 will not be valid.

Who can buy season tickets?

Initially the club is only able to process renewals for existing season ticket holders (those who renewed for the 2020/21 season) due to the current uncertainty regarding the return of supporters to stadiums.

How can I renew my season ticket once the sales window is open?

Visit chesterfc.com/seasontickets and follow the instructions to complete the renewal process and make payment via our online ticketing platform. You will then receive an email confirming you have renewed a ‘place’ in your chosen stand. There will be no seat number listed on the booking.

Will I get to keep my seat from my 2019/20 season ticket?

It is our intention to return season ticket holders to their original seats from the 2019/20 season for the new campaign, although this is subject to social distancing restrictions being lifted from June 21st in line with the Government’s roadmap. If restrictions remain in place, then it will be likely you will be allocated a seat as close as possible to your original seat.

What happens when the restrictions are lifted on social distancing inside football grounds? Can I return to my original seat then?

If social distancing limits remain in place up to the point season ticket cards are sent for printing (early July) then the seat allocated to you for the 2021/22 season will remain your seat for the full season.

When can I return to my original seat?

It is our intention to allow fans to return to their 2019/20 seat from August 2021. As stated above, if social distancing limits remain in place, then we would anticipate a return to your previous seat for season 2022/23.

What about my family, where can they sit?

During the season ticket renewal process, you will be asked to renew any additional family members’ season tickets to enable the club to begin the process of allocating seats together for your family where possible.

When will I get to know where my allocated seat has been selected?

Once the club has reviewed the renewals and applications, we will then begin the process of allocating seats. We hope that we will be in a position to return you to your original seat once we have had confirmation that social distancing limits have been lifted from June 21^st. Once this has been completed, an announcement will then be made confirming when season ticket cards will be available for collection from the Deva Stadium.

What if I don’t have online access to renew my season ticket?

The ticket office at the Deva Stadium will be open from Tuesday 11^th May to offer contactless renewals. You can also call the club during office hours on 01244 371376 and renew over the telephone.

What if I have other family members who aren’t season ticket holders?

Initially the club is only able to process renewals for existing season ticket holders, however once we have completed this process and received additional guidance, we plan to welcome new season ticket applications and will provide a further update as soon as we are in a position to do so.

If I’m not an existing season ticket holder, can I purchase a season ticket?

At the moment this is not possible, however we intend to open a sales window for new season ticket applications from June 21^st. The number of season tickets available for general sale will be dependent on the number of renewals, the approved stadium capacity and any restrictions on crowds that may be in place.

What is the situation with entry into the car park at the Deva Stadium?

We will be offering season ticket holders the opportunity to purchase a car park season pass to guarantee matchday parking at the Deva Stadium. The passes are priced at £30 for the season and only one pass per car is required. Once you have purchased, you will receive instructions on when to collect your pass, which will most likely be with season ticket collections.

If you purchased a car park season pass last season, then this will remain valid for the 2021/22 season and no further purchase will be required until the 2022/23 season.
