Chester FC can confirm that Ollie Heywood has joined Runcorn Linnets on a dual registration basis.
The 17-year-old left back, who can also play in midfield, featured on three occasions in pre-season for the senior side – in victories over Elton Vale, Clitheroe and Macclesfield.
Ollie was part of the Under-19’s side that clinched the National League Alliance Cup in March. Heywood is the Captain of the Under-18’s side and lead them out at the Deva in the 5-0 FA Youth Cup victory last week.
He links up with Blues Academy Head Coach and Linnets First Team Manager, Calum McIntyre.
