The Meeting Place Café is a community café that is raising £1500; this is specifically to help them run a 2nd session of the Meeting Place Café in the New Year.
They will be open Thursday 1pm till 3pm and Friday 10am till 12noon.
The community cafe will be a warm space as part of the National Warm Welcome Campaign and will be a place of welcome for those coming to collect any emergency food parcels during these opening times.
Adam Langan, local Ward Councillor for Hoole and Newton, said: I believe that ‘The Meeting place Café is a great project that will benefit the local community. The £1500 we are hoping to raise through Crowdfunder will enable us to provide practical support to those in need in our local community, in particular, to help those who are experiencing food poverty, isolation and loneliness”
We would love it if you could donate using the link below to access our project page.
For every £1 you give the Co-op Warm Spaces Funding Boost will match fund another £1.
