Birkenhead Vets turned on the style on Friday night, turned on the style to record an 8-3 victory over Ellesmere Port Red Lions Vets in an entertaining CWFL Tarvin Precision Vets Premier Division clash. Lee Gibson, Mark Macnoon, and Chris Reilly were the driving forces with two goals apiece, while Anthony Gardener and Jamie Edwards also chipped in. Red Lions hit back through a Gray Davidson brace and a Luke Bradley strike, but the hosts had too much fire power.

Vets Championship action saw Eastham Vets edge past Frodsham Vets by the odd goal in five. Gaz Lupton, Chay Dysart, and Mike Jeffs did the damage for Eastham, while Samuel Bailey kept Frodsham in the hunt with a neat double. Meanwhile, Neston Nomads suffered a productive but ultimately fruitless trip to Crewe Vets, slipping to a 6-3 defeat. Nick Jones bagged a brace and Liam Jeacock also scored for the visitors, but they were undone by Crewe's Daryl Scarlett, who claimed the individual honours with four goals alongside strikes from Lee Degnen and Ian Verow.

On Saturday, New Brighton Riptide kept their flawless momentum rolling in the CWFL Queensferry Sports Premier Division. An Oscar Sergeant double earned them a hard-fought 2-1 away win at Upton JFC Reserves—who replied through Josh Robinson—making it five wins from five for the league leaders. Blacon Youth Reserves climbed into third place after Joe Henry’s double secured a 2-1 win over M.U.C United. Elsewhere, a Tom Houlbrook and Luke Allen fightback wasn't quite enough for Handbridge, who fell 3-2 at Elton JFC as Harry Eardley proved the difference with a clinical hat-trick.

In the CWFL Olympic Trophies Championship, the game of the day belonged to Poulton Vics, who staged a brilliant late comeback at Cestrian Alex. Cestrian looked in total control at 3-1 up with 15 minutes left thanks to a Nicky Smith double and a Danny Eaton strike. However, Vics rallied with goals from Callum Gibson, Cameron Tilston, and Callum Maddocks, before George Bancroft popped up with the 4-3 winner to keep them unbeaten and two points off the top.

League leaders Runcorn Sports Development had to work hard for their 2-1 win over a resilient Wallasey Village side, with Jack Hunter and Ryan Bazley netting the crucial goals to cancel out Ellis Blenckinsop’s effort.

Total Football Academy made it three wins from three to keep their own perfect record intact, with Nathaniel Jones separating the sides in a tight 1-0 win over Willaston FC. Meanwhile, Hoole Rovers enjoyed a fine day out at Chester Nomads Development, running out 4-1 winners thanks to doubles from Charlie Thornton and Jamie Swanton, while Bobby Bain claimed a consolation for Nomads.

West Kirby United held all the bragging rights after a comprehensive 13-0 win over West Kirby U23. Pascal Nugent led the scoring with four goals, while Brad Wright, Shay Heller, and Joe Carruthers all walked away with hat-tricks before Blake Murray rounded off the scoring.

A quieter schedule in the CWFL Tarvin Precision Vets saw Blacon Vets and Chester Nomads Vets fight out an entertaining 2-2 draw in the Premier Division, with Leon Whitley and Ellis Moore on target for Blacon and Jack Delgado replying with both goals for Nomads. Finally, Queens Park took the points with a 2-1 victory over West Kirby Vets as Garth Myers and Matty O’Shea struck before Jon Oliver replied for the visitors.
