Officers are appealing for witnesses and those with footage to come forward following a serious collision in Ellesmere Port.
At 8.33pm on Thursday 7th May, police were called to reports of a collision in Merseyton Road.
The incident involved a white BMW 320i and a brown Sym Jet 14 motorcycle.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 30-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the car, a 24-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Detective Sergeant Amy Hollis said:
“As we establish the full circumstances of this incident, we would like to urge anyone who witnessed what happened and has not already spoken to police to get in touch with us.
“The same goes for anyone who may have been in the area at the time and has any dashcam footage.
