Police are appealing for information after a 17-year-old boy was threatened during a knifepoint robbery in Ellesmere Port.
Between 4:35pm and 4:45pm on Monday 5 June, a 17-year-old boy was walking along on Brancepeth Court when he was approached by three unknown men who threatened the boy to hand over his headphones and other possessions on his person.
When the victim refused, the men produced knives and further threatened the victim.
Following this boy fled the scene, uninjured, with nothing stolen.
One of the males is described as white, in his 20s, of slim build with chin-length light brown curly hear with a thin beard. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a blue sports top with white patterning and grey cargo trousers. He was also described as having a ‘local accent’.
The second suspect is described as white, in his 20s, of slim build, around 6’ tall, with short dark brown hair and dark stubble. He was also described as having unsymmetrical eyes and was wearing a black Nike-tech fleece with having a small black satchel bag across his chest at the time of the incident.
The third suspect is described as a white in his late teens/early 20s who was wearing a black top with white shoulder stripes and black trousers.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone with any information that may aid the investigation.
Detective Constable Krysia McNamara of Ellesmere Port CID Reactive, said:
“Thankfully this young man was not injured, but has been left quite shaken by this ordeal.
“I’d urge anyone who may have been in the area at the time to contact us so that we can find those responsible and prevent other incidents like this occurring.
“We would also like to ask anyone who may have dash cams or Ring Doorbells to review their footage to see if the incident was captured.”
