Detectives investigating two burglaries in the Chester area are appealing for CCTV and dashcam footage.
Both incidents occurred on Wednesday 8 November, in which quantities of cash were stolen, and officers suspect these could be linked.
The first burglary was reported to police at 3.40pm, after a resident returned home to an address on Rowton Lane, Rowton, to find it had been broken into. Entry was gained after a window was smashed.
This is suspected to have occurred between 3pm and 3.30pm.
A second burglary was reported to police at 6pm, after a resident returned home to an address on Brook Lane, Beeston, to find entry had been gained through a smashed patio door.
This is believed to have occurred between 4.20pm and 5.40pm.
An investigation is currently ongoing, and police would like anyone with any footage which could aid enquiries to contact them.
Detective Sergeant Stuart Needham said:
“These incidents occurred at busy times of the day and we are looking to speak to anyone who saw anything suspicious which could help our investigation.
“We’re also asking people in the areas to check their CCTV, video doorbell, or dashcam footage for anything significant which may aid enquiries.”
