Officers from Cheshire Constabulary have issued a warning after air weapons were stolen from a vehicle in Ellesmere Port.
Between 10pm on Sunday 3 February and 8am on Monday 4 February three air rifles and an air pistol were stolen from a White Vauxhall Vivaro that was parked outside an address on Fairways Drive.
The weapons stolen were Weihrauch HKW100, Weihrauch HK77 and Day State Black Panther air rifles and a Magnum replica air pistol.
Enquiries in relation to the theft are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone with any information that may help their investigation.
Police Constable Iain Ross said: “We are extremely concerned about the whereabouts of these weapons.
“The items stolen are not toys. The air weapons are extremely powerful and could be dangerous in the wrong hands.
“Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and I urge anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of the air weapons or anything else which may aid our investigation to contact the team here at Ellesmere Port.”
