An online Jobs Fair is being held on Wednesday 25th November to showcase career opportunities to jobseekers with health conditions.
The Jobs Fair, Cheshire Works 4 U – Enable Employment will take place between 11:00am and 1:00pm
The online presentation is the latest event in partnership with Jobcentre Plus, Cheshire East, Cheshire West and Chester Council, Warrington Borough Council, Learn Live, and The Pledge Partnership.
The virtual jobs fair will highlight roles in the region and is targeted at people who require additional employment support. The Minister of State for Disabled People, Justin Tomlinson, MP has also shown his support and will open the event.
Colin Billingsley, Employer and Partnership Lead for Cheshire, said:
“We know it’s been a tough year for many people and are under no illusions of the challenges that lie ahead. However, alongside our partners, we’re committed to supporting jobseekers, including those with health conditions.
“Since the pandemic began, a number of people have been forced to consider a change of career direction. We’re delighted to be able to share some of the available opportunities in the community.”
