Update from the New Chester Market

Following the incident in the Turtle Bay unit on Wednesday 29th March, Chester Market will need to remain closed.

Investigations have taken place and essential repairs are now being made.

Everything is being done to be able to reopen the market as soon as possible, no date has been confirmed but the hope is for soon after the Easter holiday.

Temporary hoardings will be in place as work continues.

Market traders are being kept up to date daily with progress and they are itching to return.

Our thoughts are with the three people injured and their families at this difficult time and we wish them a speedy recovery.
