Detectives investigating a serious assault in Chester city centre have charged two men in relation to the incident.
On Saturday 13th September police were called to reports that a 40-year-old local man had been assaulted twice in the city.
The incidents are reported to have taken place at 1.10pm near to the Best-One store on the A51, Boughton, Chester, and at 3.10pm, outside the Corner House on City Road, Chester.
Following enquiries two local men were arrested in relation to the incidents.
Connor Jones, 26, of Roman Crescent in Chester, has since been charged with one court of section 18 assault (grievous bodily harm with intent).
John Moore, 62, of no fixed abode, has been charged with one count of section 18 assault (wounding with intent) and one count of breaching a criminal behaviour order.
Both men have been denied bail and are set to appear at Chester Magistrates Court on Monday 15th September.
