Detectives investigating a serious assault in Chester have charged two men.
Justin Warren, 38, of Ermine Road, Chester was charged with section 18 assault, possession of a weapon in a public place and threatening a person in a private place with a weapon.
Paul Rowlands, 52, of Grasmere Road, Chester was charged with section 18 assault and possession of a weapon in a public place.
They were both remanded to appear at Chester Crown Court on 3rd October.
The charges relate to an assault which took place in Norris Road, Chester on 1st September.
Two other men were arrested in relation to this incident:
A 55-year-old was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
A 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault.
They have both since been released on bail.
