Detectives from Chester Proactive Team have charged two people in connection with drug offences.
Richard Hopkins and Claire Cooney were arrested on Tuesday 12 September following a stop and search on Stamford Road, Chester.
Hopkins, 43, of Penmon Close, Chester, and Cooney, 46, of Stamford Road, Chester, have since been charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs (crack cocaine, heroin).
The pair have been bailed and are next set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Tuesday 10 October.
