Officers investigating a serious assault in Ellesmere Port have charged two teenagers.
A 14 and a 15-year-old boy were arrested on Tuesday 23 July.
They have both been charged with section 18 assault, two counts of attempted section 18 assault, and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
They will appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 25 July.
The charges relate to reports of a serious assault in a park area near to Mill Lane and Overpool Road, Ellesmere Port, at around 6.37pm on Tuesday 23 July.
Officers and paramedics attended the scene and found a 17-year-old boy had suffered serious injuries. He was taken to hospital where he remains at this time.
