Detectives from North Wales and Ellesmere Port have charged a man and a boy in connection to a spate of burglaries across the UK.
Larry Rooney of Hampton Vale, Peterborough, was arrested on Tuesday 19 July following burglaries on Stanney Lane, Ellesmere Port and Heron Close, Broughton on Saturday 16 July.
The 39-year-old has been charged with three counts of burglary with intent to steal.
A 15-year-old boy was also arrested in connection to the offences and has been subsequently charged with two counts of burglary with intent to steal.
The pair appeared at Wrexham Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday 20 July, where the man was remanded into custody.
The boy was released on conditional bail at his home address in Peterborough.
They are next due to appear at Mold Crown Court on Friday 19 August.
