The family of a man who died following a fatal collision near Chester have paid tribute to him.
At around 5pm on Friday 8 December, police were called to reports of a collision on the B5152, Station Lane, between Chester Road and Morley Lane.
Tragically, the driver, 27-year-old Jamie Lee from Winsford passed away at the scene.
Following the incident, his family said:
“Jamie was a hard-working young man who lived life to the fullest and was about to embark on a 5-week holiday to Thailand with friends.
“Family and loved ones gathered at the scene of the accident this week where they paid tribute to Jamie and reflected on their time with him.
“Jamie's parents, Mark and Sarah, their partners Clare and Chris, his brother Callum and his sisters, Kelsey and Maddy have been left devastated by the loss of a much adored son, brother and friend.
“The experiences they shared and memories they made with Jamie will give them warmth as they come to terms with the tragic loss of Jamie and the hole in their lives his passing has left. They wish to thank everyone who has sent their condolences and love."
Enquiries in relation to the collision remain ongoing.
