Following the success of the first Christmas at Delamere Forest, tickets are now on sale for the stunning illuminated trail between 25 November – 31 December 2022.
Spend time together and create everlasting memories as you wander between the specially chosen illuminations, all choreographed to a soundtrack of festive music from classics to contemporary favourites.
Matthew Findlay, Head of UK Trails for Sony Music/Raymond Gubbay Ltd, said: “We were thrilled with the fantastic response from visitors who enjoyed the trail last Christmas and our planning and preparation is already well underway for this year. Look out for new surprises and you’ll see the forest in a completely new light!”
The family-friendly festive trail features the stunning Christmas Cathedral, in which more than a thousand pea lights will be woven within the forest landscape. There will also be internationally acclaimed installation Florison, multi coloured lights bursting from the undergrowth and fizzing up the trees like fireworks, and walk beneath glittering chandeliers that create a woodland ballroom as never seen before.
Independent street food vendors bring a delicious twist with tasty treats on offer. Complete your walk under the stars with a *spiced winter warmer or *hot chocolate shared with friends and family. Everyone loves toasting a marshmallow over an open fire and the artisan *marshmallow stall gives visitors the chance to warm their hands and enjoy this sweet outdoor tradition.
There are also traditional fairground rides to enjoy and don’t forget to glimpse Father Christmas along the way. My Christmas at Delamere Forest provides a special way to celebrate the festive season with an unmissable outdoor experience. The trail is designed for visitors of all ages and is accessible to all to enjoy.

About Delamere Forest
Delamere Forest, located between the major conurbations of Manchester, Liverpool and Chester, is a popular visitor destination and the largest wooded area in Cheshire. The mixed conifer and broadleaf forest has captured the imagination of many local families who return with all the generations to walk, cycle, play and enjoy the natural environment. With over 700,000-day visitors and a sustainable timber harvesting programme, Delamere Forest contributes to the local economy, directly through the timber industry as well as via leisure and tourism.
