Rich, the owner of Train Fitness Centre, is doing a Three-Peak and Bike Ride Challenge to raise funds for a local girl Isla, who has been diagnosed with leukaemia.
The purpose of this challenge is to raise money for Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group/Alder Hey Children's Charity.
Originally we set out solely, to raise money to support Ellesmere Port Rangers U11s, however, since we decided to help raise funds, it has come to light that one of the group has a close friend who‘s child Isla (12 yrs old) has sadly been diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma. We swiftly changed the priority of why we are doing this challenge and decided to raise money for Isla instead. We asked Isla what is it she has always wanted and her reply was so unbelievably selfless. She has requested the money we raise, she wants donating to the charities named above to assist and help other children in a similar situation.
So we are pushing ourselves to he limit to assist Isla in helping other children in a similar situation and hopefully offering children is a similar situation the help and care they need.
We know life is very difficult at the moment, with the cost of living, for the vast majority of people, at this moment in time but even if you can spare £1 it will help spread happiness and create memories for all involved.
