Three men have been summoned to court to face animal welfare charges.
Following an investigation by Cheshire Police, the Crown Prosecution Service has authorised for:
Peter Jones, 66, of Birds Lane in Bunbury
John Simpson, 61, of Huxley Lane in Chester
David Woolley, 67, of Hatton Hall Lane in Chester
...to be charged with duty of person responsible for animal to ensure welfare - Animal Welfare Act 2006.
The charges relate to an incident which occurred on Saturday 9nd November 2024, that involved concerns over animal welfare near Tarporley.
The men are due to stand trial at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Monday 8th September.
