Detectives from Ellesmere Port CID have charged three men and a woman with fraud offences.
The charges relate to an investigation into courier fraud operating in Ellesmere Port, which resulted in arrests at addresses in Blackburn and Hyde.
Three men and a woman were arrested as part of the raids, and have subsequently been charged with conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation and conspiracy to conceal criminal property.
The four defendants are:
- Caroline Cunliffe, 47, of Wardlebrook Avenue, Hyde
- Samuel Daniels, 34, of Bathurst Street, Blackburn
- Giuseppe Persico, 49, of Showley Road, Clayton Le Dale, Blackburn
- Giovanni Piras, 36, of Kirby Road, Blackburn
All four were remanded into custody and are set to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court today, Monday 22nd January.
