Three men from Ellesmere Port have been charged with assault following an incident in the town.
A 25-year-old man from Ellesmere Port sustained facial injuries as a result of the incident, which occurred on Princes Road shortly before 12 midnight on Friday 29 May.
The victim was taken to hospital in an ambulance and has since been discharged after receiving treatment.
Nathan Elliott, 26, Matthew Philipson, 25, and Dylan Johnston, 25, have been arrested and charged with assaulting a person and causing them actual bodily harm in connection with the incident.
Elliott, of Faraday Road, Whitby, Ellesmere Port; and Philipson, of Conway Court, Ellesmere Port; appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court via video links on Monday 1 June.
Elliott was remanded in custody and Philipson was released on conditional bail.
Johnston, of no fixed address, appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court via a video link on Thursday 4 June.
He was remanded in custody.
All three men are set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday 29 June.
